Liquorice Coins, or “Muntendrop” are how Pontefract Cakes used to taste. Produced in Holland by Kraepelin & Holm since 1864, they are medium-firm Liquorice which is neither sweet nor salty
Ingredients: Modified wheat starch, sugar, glucose syrup, gelatine, liquorice extract, ammonium chloride, water, coconut oil, flavouring, colour E150c, glazing agent E901.
